O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.40 of 2019.

2. According to the petitioner, she has given a complaint for the offences under Sections 465, 468, 417, 420 and 34 of I.P.C. On 27.02.2019, based on the above said complaint, a case has been registered by the respondent police in Crime No.40 of 2019. Even though, the case was registered in the month of February 2019, investigation has not yet been completed.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent police on instructions submitted that the respondent police has commenced their investigation and they will complete the investigation and file final report, within a period of three months before the concerned Jurisdictional Court.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report, within a period of three months, from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

5. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
