O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second and third respondents to measure and demarcate the petitioner's property in T.Survey No.78/52, situated at Iraniyam Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District, based on the online application and the receipt bearing No.2025/N123/24/011464 dated 28.07.2025 and also directing the fourth respondent to provide adequate police protection till the completion of measurement of the above-said property.

2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that an online application has been submitted for the survey of the property in question and for demarcation of its boundaries.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first to third respondents would submit that after consideration of the claims of the parties, proper steps would be taken to survey and demarcate the land in question in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the second and third respondents to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 28.07.2025, survey and demarcate the petitioner's land after consideration of the claims of all parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties Page No. 3 of 6

are at liberty to pursue their remedies before the Civil Court. It is needless to state that before surveying the land, notice shall be issued to the adjacent landowners and other interested parties, if any and that if required, police assistance may be taken.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
