[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.01.2023, within a time frame.

2. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, in S.No.75/1, situated at Vaiyampatti, Manapparai Taluk, Tirchirappalli District, there are some deities like Murugan, Pilliyar and Thekkamalai Ayyanar and the village people are worshipping in the said temple. Hence, the petitioner made a representation dated 24.01.2023, seeking to grant patta in respect of the said survey number. Since the same was not considered till date, the petitioner has filed this Writ petition.

The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that as per the 'A' Register, S.No.75/1 has been classified as Government land and the respondents have granted free patta to the landless persons. Therefore, the said application of the petitioner to grant patta in respect of S.No.75/1 cannot be considered. He has also furnished the details of the landless beneficiaries under PMAY(G) Scheme - SECC - PWL & Awaas Plus.

5. In view of the above submissions, we are of the view that there is no merit in this Writ Petition and this Writ Petition is liable to be dismissed.
