O RDER This petition is filed to quash the F.I.R in Crime No.7 of 2017, on the file of the first respondent police.
2. Today (ie.03.04.2023), when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on the side of the petitioners.
3. On the side of the prosecution, it is stated that all the cases, F.I.R was registered for conducting Jallikattu protest, which was illegally conducted, subsequently, Government Order was passed by the Government, in G.O.(Ms.) No.99, Home (Courts-IV) Department, dated 20.02.2021, wherein, the Government withdraw all the cases registered for Jallikattu protest.
4. In view of the Government Order, this Petition is allowed and the F.I.R in Crime No.7 of 2017, on the file of the first respondent police, is hereby quashed, if not closed earlier. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
