PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to pass an order direct the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Melur to expedite and complete the Trial in C.C.No.1 of 2020 in Crime No. 57 of 2019 on the file of the 2nd respondent within the stipulated time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court. For Petitioner : M/s.Muthu Samundeeswaran S V For Respondents : Mr.R.M.Anbunithi No.1 & 2 Additional Public Prosecutor

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Melur to expedite and complete the trial in C.C.No.1 of 2020 in Crime No. 57 of 2019 on the file of the 2nd respondent within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the case is pending trial without any progress.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the some of the witnesses have been examined in this case.

4. Under such circumstances , there shall be a direction to the learned learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur to dispose the case pending in CC No. 01 of 2020 within a period of twelve months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report compliance to this court after completion of the proceedings.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
