: Respondents PRAYER : Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code praying to direct the respondents 2 to 4 not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry without any complaint and without issuing any summons. ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 2 to 4 not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents 2 to 4 are frequently visiting the petitioner's house and harassing the petitioner in the odd hours without any complaint whatsoever against him. Hence, the present petition has been filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner is a history sheeted rowdy and seven cases are pending against him and the petitioner was also detained under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. Only the respondents are surveilling the conduct of the petitioner and they are not harassing him.

5. Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
