PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry on the basis of the complaint given by the 3rd respondent and considering the petitioner representation dated 30.01.2025.

O R D E R
This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass him in the guise of enquiry on the basis of the complaint given by the 3rd respondent by considering the representation dated 30.01.2025.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner and the 3rd respondent are friends and thereafter due to the misunderstanding, there was a dispute between them in respect of the money transactions. Thereby, the 3rd respondent has given a false complaint against the petitioner and based on the false complaint, the 2nd respondent is started to have harassed the petitioner. Therefore, he sent a representation dated 30.01.2025 to the 1st respondent and the same has not been considered. Hence, he filed this petition.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that based on the complaint given by the 3rd respondent, the enquiry is pending and during the enquiry, they will not harass the petitioner. However, they will complete the enquiry within a period of one week. Page No. 2 of 4
4. In view of the above said representations and considering the limited prayer of the petitioner, it is appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent to complete the enquiry within a period of one week from the date of receipt of this order.
5. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
