Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.GUNAEELANMUTHIAH J, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.S.RAVI, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This criminal miscellaneous petition has been filed by the petitioner/appellant seeking to suspend the substantive sentence of imprisonment imposed on him by the Fast Track Mahila Court, Dindigul, by Judgment dated 23.01.2021 in S.C.No.64 of 2018.

2. Heard Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Ravi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

3. Considering the heinous nature of crime, we do not think that it will be proper to suspend the sentence. Hence, this petition is dismissed.

4. Registry is directed to post the main appeal for hearing on 21.03.2022.
