ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.) This Contempt Petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the order passed by this Court dated 08.12.2022, made in W.P.(MD) No. 16650 of 2021.

2. When this Contempt Petition came up for hearing earlier, it was submitted on behalf of the first respondent that the encroachment has been removed, however, it was complained by the petitioner that, only a portion of the encroachment has been removed and the remaining portions are yet to be removed. Photographs also to that effect have been filed before this Court, therefore, by our order dated 17.04.2023, we directed the respondents to remove the encroachment in entirety and file a report. 2/4

Accordingly, when the case is taken up for hearing, Mr.A.K.Manikkam, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent filed photographs to show that the encroachment has been completely removed, which is in a small lane, which can be used by the passerby to have a link between the main road and the residential buildings, which are available beyond the other side, for which this is the only link lane, that has been now restored.

4. In view of the same, since the entire encroachment has been removed, taking note of the said compliance made by the respondents and recording the same, this Contempt Petition is closed.
