This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Certiorarified Mandamus seeking interference with an order passed by the third respondent/Thasildar, Aruppukottai, Virudhunagar District, by which, he had rejected an application filed by for recognition as legal heir by the petitioner herein.
2.Heard Mr.K.Dinesh, learned Counsel for the petitioner, Mr.J.Ahok, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3 and Ms.P.Rohini, learned Counsel for the fourth respondent. 3.Let me not enter into a detailed discussion on the facts, because as against the said order, there is an appellate remedy available under Clause-VII(1) of G.O.Ms.No.478, dated 29.09.2022, Revenue and Disaster Management. The time period for filing such an appeal is one 2/4
year. The Writ Petitioner may therefore take recourse to the appellate procedure as enunciated under the Government Order. 4.No further orders are required.
5.The Writ Petition stands disposed of giving that liberty to the petitioner. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
