PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the respondent to file final report in Crime No.33 of 2018 on the file of the respondent with a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.33 of 2018 pending on the file of the respondent.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a FIR in Crime No.33 of 2018 has been registered for the offences punishable under Sections 463, 447 and 506(1) IPC by the respondent police. For more than one year, the respondent police has not taken any action on the said complaint. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the investigation on the complaint given by the petitioner is in progress and final report will be filed shortly. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in the case in Crime No.33 of 2018 and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
