PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the first respondent not to harass the petitioner in the pretend of petition enquiry in the nature and circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice, equity and good conscience.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the first respondent not to harass the petitioner.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that based on the complaint given by the third respondent herein, the second respondent under the guise of conducting enquiry is harassing the petitioner. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), on instructions, would submit that the third respondent herein has given the complaint against the petitioner that he misappropriated the jewels belongs to the third respondent. Based on that complaint enquiry has been conducted by the second respondent police and has been closed. He would further submit that the respondent police has no intention to harass the petitioner.

4. Inasmuch as the petition filed against the petitioner has been enquired and closed, the respondent police is directed not to harass the petitioner.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
