This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to provide adequate police protection for putting up fencing and boundary stones on the petitioner's property in SF No.379/4, to an extent of 0.36 cents, located at Keelpaguthi Village, Tharagampatti Panchayat, Kadavoor Taluk, Karur District, and to ensure the safety of the petitioner, in view of the petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2026, within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that the accused is claiming title over the property based on an entry made in the UDR. However, the petitioner challenged the same before the appropriate authority, and the UDR entry was cancelled vide order dated 03.05.2024. Aggrieved by the cancellation, the accused filed W.P(MD) No.11220 of 2024 and this Court vide order dated 24.10.2025, dismissed the Writ Petition and confirmed the order of the District Revenue Officer. Accordingly, the petitioner is now seeking to fence the property, for which adequate police protection ought to be provided.

Accordingly, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2026 in light of the order passed by District Revenue Officer, Karur, dated 03.05.2024, as confirmed by this Court in W.P(MD) No.11220 of 2024, dated 24.102.205 and pass appropriate orders, including the grant of police protection for fencing. It is noted that the title of the property has been clarified in the earlier Writ Petition filed before this Court. In case any rival parties are in possession, they are directed to approach the competent civil court.
