PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the second respondent herein not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry. For Petitioner : Mr.D.Anbarasu For R1 and R2 : Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi Government Advocate (Crl.Side)

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent herein not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that she has attained the age of majority and got married to one Samundeeshwaran. But, the third respondent, who is the father of the petitioner, has given a complaint before the second respondent police alleging that the petitioner is missing. Based on the said complaint, now under the guise of enquiry, the second respondent police is harassing the petitioner. Hence, she has filed the present petition with the above said prayer.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the official respondents, on instructions, would submit that the third respondent has given a complaint before the second respondent stating that his minor daughter is found missing. On investigation it came to know that the petitioner got married to one Samundeeswaran. He further submitted that only for the purpose of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

enquiry, the petitioner was directed to appear before the respondent Police and the second respondent respondent police has not harassed the petitioner nor intent to harass her.

4. The statement of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) is recorded. Considering the fact that the investigation in this case is pending, the petitioner is directed to cooperate with the investigation. During enquiry, there shall not be any harassment to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
