ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 420 and 506(ii) of I.P.C., in Crime No. Not Known of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

3.It is seen that the petitioner and the complainant entered into an understanding. The petitioner is said to have paid a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- and the balance amount of Rs.5,50,000/- is also to be paid in installments. In view of the understanding entered between the parties, I am of the view that there is no need for registration https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of the FIR as of now. Only if the petitioner goes back on the understanding, FIR may have to be registered. In that event, the respondent will notify the petitioner, so that, the petitioner will have an opportunity to move this Court once again for anticipatory bail.

4.With these observations and directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
