ORDER

Seeking for a direction to the first respondent to monitor the investigation in Crime No.36 of 2021 of Bazaar Police Station, Ramanathapuram, the present petition has been filed by the petitioner.

2.Mr.Krishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that the petitioner is aged about 60 years and that though he had been brutally attacked by the accused in Crime No.36 of 2021, the police did not conduct proper investigation in the said case. His further contention is that the second respondent police arrested only two of the accused and the remaining persons are wandering in the same locality.

3.Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, would contend that the investigation in Crime No.36 of 2021, is underway and that A-1 was already arrested. His further contention is that A-2 and A-3 got anticipatory bail. His specific contention is that the investigation in Crime No.36 of 2021 is going on the right path. 4.However, since the petitioner has made certain serious allegations against the second respondent, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ramanathapuram Rural, is directed to monitor the investigation in Crime No.36 of 2021 of Bazaar Police Station, Ramanathapuram.

5.The second respondent is also directed to expedite the investigation in Crime No.36 of 2021 and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order/uploading of the order.

6.With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
