ORDER

The present petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to investigate further upon the petitioner's complaint, dated 25.11.2024 and to take necessary action against the fourth respondent and to initiate the further action within time frame fixed by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, he entered the sale agreement with one Palani son of Andigounder for a sum of Rs.22,91,250/- and a sum of Rs.9,00,000/- paid as advance. The remaining amount to be paid within 35 days. While so, the fourth respondent lodged a complaint stating that he lost all the documents while travelling on the two wheeler while proceeding towards the bus stand. Thereby he lodged a complaint before the third respondent and CSR copy also issued. Thereafter, the third respondent issued certificate to the effect that those certificates are untraceable. Thereafter, the petitioner came to 2/5

know that the fourth respondent had mortgaged the original documents with one Vellaichamy and also made a false complaint before the third respondent. Therefore, he lodged a complaint through registered post to the official respondents, dated 25.11.2024, but they have not taken any steps. Hence, the present petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents would submit that the complaint of the petitioner was enquired by examining both the parties and closed by instructing the parties to approach the appropriate Court for seeking appropriate remedy.

4. In view of the closure of the complaint, the petitioner is at liberty to approach appropriate forum, if he is aggrieved by the said closure.

5. With the above observation, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
