ORDER

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioner had filed this petition seeking direction against the Respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the Petitioner. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions from the Respondent Police submitted that the Petitioner involved in a criminal offences under the Guduvancheri Police Station limited, Chengalpattu District. Based on the information provided by the Guduvancheri Police Station, the Respondents 1 and 2 had issued summons to the Petitioner and also issued summons under Section 41-A, directing the Petitioner to appear before the Guduvancheri Police Station, Chengalpattu District. The Petitioner had not received the summons and he had absconded. 3.

Further, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions from the Respondent Police submitted that the second Respondent had gone to the residence of the Petitioner to serve summons as per the instructions from the Inspector of Police, Guduvancheri Police Station. On seeing the Police, the Petitioner pushed the Police Constable and he ran away. The conduct of the Petitioner cannot be condoned by the Court.

like the Petitioner are under the impression that the Court is only to protect the criminal activities of the Citizens. This conduct of the Petitioner cannot be condoned by this Court.
