The petitioner has applied for the post of Grade II Police Constable pursuant to the notification issued by the Uniformed Services Recruitment Board dated 21.08.2025. of her community certificate. Therefore, she was treated as OC candidate. Aggrieved by that the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

2.The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner has enclosed the certificate and she has not substantiated her case that she belongs to MBC. The certificate which has been included along with the application is not relevant to the petitioner and therefore, she was treated under the category of OC. He further submits that cut off mark for OC candidate is 55 marks and the petitioner has secured 60 marks and therefore, the petitioner was treated as an OC candidate and she was permitted to participate in all other process. In the selection process, she has completed the written examination and she has also been successfully completed the physical test and therefore, according to him, the petitioner is under the consideration in OC candidate.

3.This Court has considered the submissions made on either side and perused the available materials on record. 4.The petitioner has not enclosed her community certificate at the time of applying for the job. The notification itself prescribed a time limit for correcting the mistakes, if any. However, the petitioner has not availed that opportunity and therefore, this Court is not inclined to issue any direction as prayed for by the petitioner. Since the petitioner has meritoriously cleared the written examination and physical test, the petitioner shall be considered sympathetically. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 03.02.2026 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet:Yes gns 4/6
