This petition is filed seeking for a prayer to direct the first respondent to do proper and fair investigation of the case in Crime NO.8 of 2014 on the file of the second respondent by scrupulously following the procedures of arresting the accused, seizing the stolen jewel which worth about Rs.85,000/-, incorporating the necessary offences and bring the accused into book and examining the witnesses in accordance with law. 2.I have heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), on instructions, would submit that the case has been altered into for
the offence under Section 379 I.P.C. and the respondents will complete the investigation by following the necessary procedures in accordance with law and seek two months' time to bring the issue to the logical end.
4. Considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side), the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation within a period of two months preferably on or before 31-January-2016. The first respondent is directed to monitor the investigation. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
