: Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., praying to transfer the investigation in Crime No.298 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police to any other competent or independent agency and to file a final report within a time frame as fixed by this Hon'ble Court. O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this petition praying to transfer the case in Crime No.298 of 2014, from the file of the second respondent to any other competent or independent agency and to file a final report within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.The counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, since the second respondent has not shown any interest to investigate the matter, the petitioner has come forward with this application for the relief as stated supra.

3.Resisting the same, the Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that the investigation is going on in an effective manner and he seeks four months time to file a final report and objected the relief sought for by the petitioner.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the submissions made on either side, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Thirumangalam Sub Division, is directed to investigate the matter and file the final report, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, on or before 15.05.2016.
