O R D E R
DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN., J AND R.POORNIMA.,J The Habeas Corpus Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the person or body of the detenue namely Anusha, daughter of Esakkimuthu( aged about 18 years) before this Court and set him at liberty. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.
3.The Petitioner is the sister of one Anusha, aged 18 years. Since she has left him without intimation, Habeas Corpus Petition is filed to bring the body of Anusha. The respondent-Police having registered FIR in Crime No.62 of 2025 found that the said Anusha is living with one Chandrasekar at Tisayanvilai. The parent of Chandrasekar as well as Chandrasekar and Anusha had reported to the Police that Anusha had voluntarily left the parents home and lived with the said 2/5
Chandrasekar as husband and wife. The statement of all these three persons are recorded by the Police which form part of C.D. 4.The learned counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the above said Chandrasekar is a married person and that he would entice the sister of the petitioner and kept her under illegal custody. However, the statement of the persons concerned does not disclose any element of illegal detention. 5.Hence the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
