Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to cancel the examination held on 25.08.2019 in pursuant to the notification issued by the 3rd respondent vide notification No.1/2019, dated 06.03.2019 for direct recruitment to the post of Sub Inspector of Police (Taluk Armed Reserve (Men and Women / Transgender) and Tamilnadu Special Police (Men) - 2019 and proceed with the recruitment afresh and by considering the petitioners representation, dated 31.08.2020.

W.P.(MD) No.3731 of 2021 2.The petitioner herein has challenged the written examination held on 25.08.2019, pursuant to the notification issued by the third respondent, dated 06.03.2019.

3.The learned Additional Advocate General, would submit that, pursuant to the written examination, the final selection list was published on 04.02.2020 and the successful candidates have also completed their training programmes. As such, the recruitment process, pursuant to the notification, dated 06.03.2019, has been completed. At this stage, it would not be appropriate to interfere with the written examination held on 25.08.2019, after much water has flown in the selection process.

4.Hence, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
