This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner for a direction directing the respondent Nos.1 to 6 to take action against the 7th respondent in accordance with the Cable TV Regulation Act for illegally transmitting Cable Signal without valid postal license, based on the representation of the petitioner dated 31.01.2023. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 2/5
3.Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the Writ Petition, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the petitioner's representation dated 31.03.2023, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the seventh respondent and also affording an opportunity of hearing to them and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
