Respondent / Complainant PRAYER: Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the learned Sessions Judge cum P.C.R.Court, Sivagangai to accept the surrender of the petitioner in connection with the case in Crime No.271 of 2015 pending investigation on the file of the respondent Police and to consider and pass orders in the Bail application on the same day.

O R D E R

The petitioners, who apprehend arrest for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 342, 506(i) of IPC and Section 3(1)(X) of SC & ST (Prevention of Atrocities Act, 1989, in Cr.No.271 of 2015, on the file of the respondent police, move this petition seeking direction to the learned Sessions Judge cum P.C.R.Court, Sivagangai, to consider the bail applications filed by the petitioners on the same day of their surrender. 2.The offences complained of, other than the offence under the Special enactment, even though serious since the injured has been discharged from the hospital the same can be considered by the said Court on the same day.

3.Therefore, the learned Sessions Judge cum P.C.R.Curt, Sivagangai is directed to accept the surrender of the petitioners and consider their bail application on the very same day purely on the basis of merits and to pass suitable orders, in the event of petitioners surrendering before the said court within 15 days from the date of receipt of the order and their filing of petition seeking bail. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered.
