ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to finalize and disburse the balance amount for the improvement work which the petitioner had carried out by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.01.2021. The work is to retaining the wall in the Kanmai situated at Poyyankulam Village, Sempatti Village Panchayat, Aruppukkottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District under PMKSY Scheme 2016-2017.

2. Admittedly, the petitioner has carried out certain works to the respondent's department. The petitioner has received the 1st part bill amount as entered in the measurement book. But, the second part bill amount was erroneously credited by the second respondent as Rs.91,391/- instead of Rs. 1,56,924.65/-. The error occurred while the second respondent was passing the second part of bill amount.

3. Therefore, the third respondent is directed to rectify the mistake and submit the same to the second respondent. The respondents shall grant personal 2/4

hearing to the petitioner so that the petitioner shall clarify the error to the respondent. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With these observations and directions, this Writ Petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
