P RAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue separate patta for the property situated in Survey No.2/3 in Kokkulapi Village, Madurai West Taluk, Madurai District with extent about 464 sq.ft by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.12.2024 within a time period stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
The writ petition, considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, is taken up for final disposal, with the consent of both parties.
2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.
3. The petitioner seeks issuance of writ of mandamus for issuing the separate patta in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.2/3 in Kokkulapi Village, Madurai West Taluk, Madurai District. 2/5
4. The petitioner has made an online application, on 14.06.2024 for separate patta, before the second respondent, thereafter, the petitioner has sent a detailed representation on 20.12.2024 seeking issuance of separate patta for her property. According to the petitioner, there has been no action taken on the said application or the representation referred herein above, hence, the writ of mandamus sought to be issued.
5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that online application has been received only towards the end of 2024 and hence, reasonable time may be granted.
6. In view of the above, the fourth respondent, being the competent authority, shall dispose of the said application on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
