When the contempt petition was taken up for hearing, Mr.P.T.Thiraviyam, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the contemnors pleaded that against the order passed in W.P.(MD).No.24505 of 2024 dated 07.11.2024, the respondents had preferred an appeal in W.A.(MD).No.966 of 2025. He pleads that the Division Bench has granted an order of interim stay on 08.04.2025.

2. As the order of the learned Single Judge has been kept in abeyance by the Division Bench, this contempt petition is closed. No costs.

3. In the event, the writ appeal goes in favour of the contemnors, the contempt petitioner is at liberty to revive this contempt petition by way of filing an application or by initiating separate contempt proceedings.

4. With the above observation, this contempt petition is closed. No costs.
