ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to remove the water tank and pipeline from the petitioner's property in S.No.38/1 situated in Pettavaithalai Village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichy District.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the above said survey is private property and the respondents 1 and 2 have encroached the same and put up the water tank and pipe line.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has received written instructions from the first respondent on 03.02.2025 to the effect that they would conduct a survey and if it is found that the tank and pipeline are located within the private property, they would be removed within a period of one month. 2/4

4. In view of the above submissions, the first respondent is directed to conduct a survey in the presence of the writ petitioner. In case it is found that the water tank and pipeline are located within the private property of the petitioner, they shall be removed within a period of 30 days from the date of the survey.

5. With the above observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs. 04.02.2026 TTA TO
