*********** This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 05.01.2022 seeking for issuance of change of patta for her properties situate at Sirangattuppatti Village in Survey Nos.20/20, 20/13, 30/3, 22/6, 22/7, 20/19 and 20/9 measuring an extent of 44 cents, 29 cents, 50 cents, 4 cents, 2 1⁄2 cents, 21 cents and 7 1⁄2 cents respectively. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

2.Heard Mr.T.A.Ebenezer, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Jeyapriya, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

3.No prejudice would be caused to the respondent if the petitioner's representation dated 05.01.2022 seeking for issuance of patta is considered on merits and in accordance with law after affording a fair opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other necessary parties, if any.

4.Accordingly, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.01.2022 seeking for issuance of patta in her name for the aforementioned properties and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law after https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.[MD]No.2902 of 2022 affording a fair opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other rival claimants, if any, within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
