O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction against the second respondent, Sub Registrar, Mudukulathur, Ramanathapuram District, to register the document presented by the petitioner on 30.01.2023 in Doc.No.TP/142143167/2023 2.Heard Mr.R.Velmurugan, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Prakash, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

3.Even before the learned Counsel for the petitioner could express upon the Court the necessity to issue Mandamus, the learned Additional Government Pleader pointed out that the check slip, which should have been issued by the second respondent, if that document was refused to be registered, has not been enclosed along with the documents filed by the Writ Petitioner. However, the learned Counsel for the petitioner stated that such check slip was not issued by the second respondent. 2/4

4.Let me not enter into any detailed discussion on that particular aspect, but would direct the petitioner to re-present the document in manner known to law after following due procedure through online. If it is done so, the second respondent may examine the same and come to a subjective satisfaction to register or not to register the document and if a decision is taken not to register, give necessary reasons by issuing check slip.

5.No further orders are required.
