Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the Review Petition in M2/rP.k.vz;.01/2021 preferred by the third respondent under Section 13 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983 by considering the representation dated 24.12.2021 made by the petitioner within the time stipulated by this Court.

*********** This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the review petition filed by the third respondent under the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that he had a feasible order by the Sub-Collector which was challenged by way of review by the third respondent before the first respondent under Section 13 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1982. The petitioner has given a representation dated 24.12.2021 to the first respondent for early disposal of the review application submitted by the third respondent. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, this Writ Petition has been filed. 3.Heard Mr.I.Pinaygash, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.T.Amjad Khan, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the first and second respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.[MD]No.2903 of 2022 4.Learned Government Advocate would submit that within a period of two [2] months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, the first respondent will be in a position to dispose of the review application filed by the third respondent under Section 13 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1982. The said statement is recorded.
5.Accordingly, this Court directs the first respondent to dispose of the representation filed by the third respondent under Section 13 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1982 and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law after affording a fair opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the third respondent within a period of two [2] months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
