ORDER

The petitioners seek issuance of free house site patta. The petitioners have made a representation on 10.12.2024 in this regard. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioners also invited my attention to the communication dated 04.02.2021 from the Collector, Virudhunagar District to the respondents 3 and 4.

3.On a perusal of the said communication, it is seen that the Collector has only forwarded the application of the petitioners herein and directed the respondents to take further action of the same. Despite the said direction on 04.02.2021, the fourth respondent has not passed any orders on the petitioners' application for issuance of free house site patta, which has necessitated the petitioners to make a representation on 10.12.2024. 4.Considering that the petitioners have been knocking at the doors of the authorities right from the year 2021 onwards, the fourth respondent shall consider the representation of the petitioners dated 10.12.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law subject to the entitlement of the petitioners to free house site patta under the relevant Government orders. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
