O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 3rd respondent to register the case/F.I.R. On the complaint of the petitioner dated 14.11.2014 and to investigate to file a final report within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

2. Earlier the matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, wherein, the parties have appeared and amicably settled the matter among themselves. The terms of settlement are as follows: "1.Both parties and their counsels are persent and they have settled the matter amicably between themselves. 2.The respondent had already given a sum of Rs.1,15,000/- (Rupees one lakh fifteen thousand only) to the petitioner on various dates, in the presence of both side counsels and Mediator before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Today, ie on 08.12.2015 the respondent has given a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only) to the petitioner. 4.The petitioner agrees that he is willing to withdraw the case in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.22089 of 2014 and Cr.No.554 of 2014 on the file of the Devakottai Town Police Station."

3. In view of the above this petition is dismissed as withdrawn, in view of the settlement arrived at.
