VADIVEL @ SEKAR, Special Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This Petition has been filed to modify the condition Nos.7(a) and 7(d) imposed upon the petitioner by this Court vide order dated 23.01.2024 made in Crl.O.P(MD). No.838 of 2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner could not mobilize a sum of Rs.50,00,000/- within a period of two weeks as directed by this Court and the passport of the petitioner was found missing. Hence, he could not produce the passport before the respondent. Therefore, this Petition has been filed seeking modification of the condition Nos.7(a) and 7(d).

Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, time granted by this Court, vide order dated 23.01.2024, to deposit a sum of Rs.50,00,000/- (Rupees Fifty Lakhs only) by the petitioner to the respondent/The Senior Intelligence Officer, Director General of GST Intelligence, Trichy District, is extended finally for a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The condition 7(d) imposed on the petitioner vide order dated 23.01.2024 is modified to the effect that if the passport of the petitioner is available, the respondent is directed to impound the passport of the petitioner 2/4

until further orders for complying the conditions imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P (MD).No.838 of 2024 on 23.01.2024.
