Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to provide appropriate permission to the petitioner Organization to conduct Rally start at Mannar Thirumalai Nayakkar College on 08.02.2025 and the Rally ending at Roundana of Pallanganatham, Madurai at about 5 PM on 08.02.2025 and conduct the public meeting by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 22.01.2025.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that already the petitioner's representation, dated 22.01.2025 was considered and the same was rejected. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

2.Recording the above submission, this writ petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order passed by the respondent, dated 04.02.2025.
