ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 406, 420, 120(b) of I.P.C., and Section 5 of TNPID (F & E) Act, 1997, and Sections 3, 5 and 21 of Banning of Unregulated Deposits Scheme Act, 2019, in Crime No.1 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

3.The petitioner's counsel would contend that the petitioner was only a Director on paper in the accused company and that, the company Sun Star Agro Farm(India) Ltd., was controlled and managed only by A2 to A4.

CRL OP(MD). No.2759 of 2020 4.Be that as it may, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would point out that so far 355 depositors have given a complaint. The default amount runs to more than rupees three crores as of now. The respondent expects it to go up to rupees seven crores in the ROC. The petitioner's name is figuring as one of the Directors. Therefore, I am not inclined to grant relief. Hence, this criminal original petition stands dismissed.
