Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the person or body of the detenu namely, Ruben, S/o C.Anandraj, aged about 15 years, who is the son of the petitioner and hand over him custody to the petitioner.

The When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the minor son of the petitioner has been retrieved from Tiruppur Velapmpalayam area by the respondent police and had restore the custody of the child to the petitioner on 06.03.2024. In the light of the above fact, F.I.R in Crime No. 811 of 2023 dated 25.12.2023 has been closed as 'action dropped'.
2. Since the child is now in the custody of the parents, quo the petitioner herein, nothing survives in the Habeas Corpus Petition. Hence, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
