ORDER

Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. Mr.Vaikkam Karunanidhi, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the 3rd respondent.

2. Considering the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, with the consent of the parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner seeks issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to survey and mark the four boundaries of the petitioner's property comprised in Survey No:3A/3A2, Sivanthipatti, Srivilliputur, measuring to an extent of 17 cents in the presence of the police officials.

4. I find that the petitioner has made an application on 18.08.2023 and followed it up with an online application on 16.12.2024.

5. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite meeting the officials of the respondents on several occasions, no action has been taken to date.

6. Considering the limited scope of prayer, the respondents 1 and 2 is directed to conduct a survey and mark the four boundaries of the subject property based upon the petitioner's application dated 16.12.2024 within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of their being any apprehension of breach of peace, the 3rd respondent police is directed to provide assistance and police protection to the respondents 1 and 2 to survey the subject property.

7. The writ petition stands disposed of in terms of the above observations and directions. No costs.
