RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT/ RESPONDENT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time to comply the order for the execution of sureties made in Crl.M.P.(MD) No.11693 of 2016 dated 28/11/2016 in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.20225 of 2016 on 21.10.2016.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.J.C.RATHINAVEL PANDIAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.P.KANDASAMY Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the Respondent the court made the following order:- On a perusal of records, it is seen that anticipatory bail was granted on 21.10.2016 directing the petitioner to appear before the concerned court within 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of the order and the petitioner filed to surrender before the court within the stipulated time and the petitioner filed a petition in Crl..M.P.No.11693 of 2016 and time was extended for two weeks from the date on which the order copy is made ready. The order copy was received on 20.10.2016 and the present petition is filed on 10.01.2017. Hence, the petition is out of time i.e more than 2 months. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner was suffering from chicken-pox.

2. Considering the reasons assigned in the petition filed for extension of time, this Court is inclined to extend 10 days time from the date of which the order copy is made ready, on condition that the petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.800/- to the District Legal Services Authorities, Thoothukudi District as a last chance.
