ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The Writ of Mandamus has been instituted to forbear the respondents 1 to 4 from converting the land comprised in Survey No.190/5, situated at West Ayakudi Village, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District as a burial ground and further to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to remove the buried corpse and tombs therein by considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.02.2024. 2/5
2.The grievance of the writ petitioner is that the respondents are attempting to convert the subject land as a burial ground. 3.In this context, the learned Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted a copy of the written instructions issued by the Tahsildar, Palani, dated 21.02.2025, stating that there is no such proposal for the conversion of the subject land as a burial ground. 4.In the absence of any such proposal, the petitioner has not established sufficient cause for entertaining the Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
