ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family from the third respondent.

2. According to the petitioner, on 25.01.2025, at about 10.00 a.m., when the petitioner and his wife were went to work, the third respondent trespassed into the petitioner's cattle shed and stolen a goat and also damaged the shed properties. Therefore, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the respondents 1 and 2 on 27.01.2025. But they have not taken any action. Hence, the petitioner filed this petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner is under 2/5

enquiry and they will complete the enquiry within a week and thereafter, they will act in accordance with law.

4. Since the petitioner's enquiry is pending, it is appropriate to direct the second respondent to complete the enquiry within a week from the date of this order. Accordingly, it is ordered.

5. In view of the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
