O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent to accept and to register the sale deed dated 23.01.2026 in respect of Survey No.302/5I to the extent of 0.02.43 hectares situated at Ilankulam Village, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District in accordance with law.

2.With consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the the petitioner intended to sell the property to third party and presented the sale deed before the second respondent on 23.01.2026. However, the second respondent refused to receive the same for registration. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 2/6

4.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner never presented the sale deed before the second respondent for registration. In the event, if the sale deed is presented, the same would be considered by the respondents in accordance with law.

5.Heard the learned Counsel on either side.

6.Admittedly, in the present case, the petitioner is intending to sell the property which she acquired by virtue of the settlement deed dated 16.03.2023, executed by the petitioner's mother. Hence, I do not find any impediment for the second respondent to register the same. The petitioner is directed to present the sale deed for registration afresh and on receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to register the same forthwith, if it is otherwise in order.

7.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
