ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner for a direction directing the respondents to pay the amount to the tune of Rs.40,00,000/- for the works which were already completed by the petitioner.

2.The petitioner is a Proprietor of Sri Senthil Agro Products. While being so, the second respondent placed an order with the petitioner's proprietor concerned namely Sri Senthil Ago Products for the supply, erection and installation of 15 numbers of Reverse Osmosis plants, after completion of the entire work within the Panchayats of the respondents 3 to 5 herein in the month of July and August, 2021 itself. It got inspected and the petitioner was issued a work completion certificate. The petitioner raised bills for the work already completed to the tune of Rs.40,00,000/-. However, so far the said amount has not been disbursed by the respondents.

3.On instructions, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that while pending the Writ Petition, a substantial amount out of Rs. 40,00,000/- was already disbursed to the petitioner. The remaining amount will be disbursed within a period of eight weeks. 4.In view of the abovesaid submission, the respondents are directed to disburse the balance amount out of Rs.40,00,000/- for the work already completed by the petitioner after deducting the amount which was already paid to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
