PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, Order or direction particularly in the nature of a Writ, directing the 2nd respondent to issue legal heir certificate of Late.Jalaja Kumar to the petitioner, on the basis of her representation dated 26.12.2020.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to issue legal heirship certificate to the petitioner, based on the representation dated 26.12.2020.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that he has already given change of vakalat and a memo has already been filed in this regard.
3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the first and second respondents submitted that the petitioner can be directed to give an online application by showing the names of all the legal heirs and based on the same, an enquiry will be conducted and if the petitioner is found eligible, the legal heirship certificate will also be issued to the petitioner.

4. In the light of the above submission, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to submit an online application by giving particulars of all the legal heirs and on receipt of the same, the second respondent shall process the same and if necessary, conduct an enquiry and take a decision within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of application from the petitioner.
5. This writ petition is disposed with the above directions. No costs.
