This Writ Petition is filed to consider the petitioner's representation for participating in the further selection process in the Common Recruitment for the post of Grade II Police Constable, Grade II Jail Warder and Fireman-2019.
2. The learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that he has applied for the post of Grade II Constable, Grade II Jail Warders and Firemen in the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board 2019. Notification prescribes that NCC "B" Certificate carries one mark https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD) No.3146 of 2020 and and NCC "C" Certificate carries two marks. While the system not permitting the petitioner to upload the "C" Certificate, he had uploaded only "B" Certificate. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he had "C" Certificate in NCC, which carries 2 marks, he could not upload the same, which leads the petitioner to loose the opportunity of getting selected. Hence, the petitioner has given his representation to the respondents on 11.02.2020. Since no action has been taken by them, the petitioner is before this Court, with this present Writ Petition.
4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer in the Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.02.2020 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
