Petition filed under section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the 2nd Respondent to conduct enquiry and complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.58 of 2019 on the file of the 2nd Respondent within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Contempt petition has been filed to punish the contemnor/2nd Respondent for his willful, deliberate, disobedience of the order of this Honble Court made in Crl. O.P. (MD) No. 13773 of 2019 dated 27.09.2019.

2. Contemnor is present before this Court today. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that this Court by an order dated 27.09.2019 had directed the second respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.58 of 2019 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Cont.P(MD)No.243 of 2020 pending on his file and file a final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. He would further submit that even prior to the filing of this petition, final report has been filed on 24.07.2019 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur and the same has been taken on file in C.C.No.54 of 2019. Hence no contempt has been made by the respondent.

3. Recording the same, this Contempt petition is closed.
