This petition is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.39 of 2013 on the file of the Special Court for Land Grabbing Cases, Tirunelveli.

the same was posted on 27.01.2015. Thereafter, more than four occasions, when the matter was listed, the learned counsel for the petitioners took adjournments only. Therefore, the matter is pending for the past four years without even ordering notice or admitting by this Court.

3.It seems that the petitioners have no interest to proceed with the matter. More over, the case is of the year 2014. Therefore, this Court is of the view that the pendency of the criminal original petition would not serve for any purpose. 4.In view of the above, the criminal original petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
