Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

2. Considering the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, with the consent of the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner seeks issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to transfer the patta in his name.

4. Pursuant to his purchase by sale deed dated 04.04.2022, the petitioner has applied for patta transfer on 28.06.2024. He has also made an online application on 24.01.2025.

5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. 2/4

6. Considering the limited prayer sought for, it would be suffice to direct the 1st respondent to consider the online application made by the petitioner on 24.01.2025 and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
