Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as accused No.2, apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 406 and 420 of I.P.C., in Crime No.35 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the accused persons, on promising to get job at Singapore, received a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- from the de-facto complainant and they did not get job and when the de-facto complainant asked for money, they threatened the de-facto complainant with dire consequences.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is running a travel agency at Paramakudi and he arranged only ticket for the defacto complainant and he did not cheat anybody and he did not commit any offence as alleged by the prosecution.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that this Court already dismissed the Crl.O.P.(MD).No.14756 of 2015 filed by the petitioner on 18.11.2015 and the Crl.O.P.(MD).No.13964 of 2015 filed by the co-accused also was dismissed.
5. In view of the Suppression of fact, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
